Goeppingen Campus

Modern labs, short distances and a family-like atmosphere: these are characteristic for the campus

On the Goeppingen campus of Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, students study and do research in the faculty of Management and Technology. Courses offered by the faculties of Mechanical and Systems Engineering and Mobility and Technology are also located on the Göppingen campus.

Further, the library, Computer Centre, administration and cafeteria (Mensa) are to be found on the campus.

In addition to studying, the University, town of Goeppingen and surroundings offer many leisure time and sporting activities. The Goeppingen campus lies just 20 minutes away from Esslingen. With a student ticket (StudiTicket, VVS) any destinations in the wider Stuttgart area are easy to reach.

By means of a chipcard, students gain access to study rooms, computer pools, communal faculty space and labs at the following times:

Saturday: 08:00 – 18:00

It is easy and convenient to get to the Goeppingen campus from Stuttgart airport by public transport.

Room numbering system

This system helps you to find any room at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences:

Example: G 04.125

S/F/G = The letter tells you which campus: "S" stands for Esslingen city center campus (Stadtmitte), "F" Esslingen hilltop campus, Flandernstrasse and "G" for the Goeppingen campus.

The digit before the point:
The digit before the point tells you the building number.

Digits after the point:
The digits following the point tell you the room number, such that the first digit gives the floor within the building. If the first digit is preceded by a minus sign (-), the room is in the basement.

So, our example (G 04.125) is located on the
Goeppingen campus in building 4,
on the first floor and has room number 125
