At the Institute for Intelligent Systems (IIS), we research and develop new algorithms in the fields of autonomous systems and artificial intelligence. By linking these two complex topics, we aim to capture the full potential of intelligent systems, further develop their applications, and actively contribute to the scientific and technological design of such systems.

We see ourselves as a bridge between academia and industry, working closely with industrial partners to turn our innovations into products. Furthermore, we aim to provide students and young researchers with an inspiring research-driven environment to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of intelligent systems.

The Institute for Intelligent Systems is a research institute of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering.
