School Students-Engineers Academy

Esslingen Campus

School Students-Engineers Academy on the Esslingen campus regularly visits numerous schools in the area. There, you can learn more about exciting topics from technology and the natural sciences than you would in normal school classes.

If there is no School Students-Engineers Academy at your school, then why not speak to your technology, physics or science teachers, and ask if it could be made possible? Alternatively, you can take part in activities at another school nearby – please ask them.

We offer the following:

  • A robot club at a private grammar school in Esslingen
  • Extra classes for school students in the lower classes at the Katharine’s comprehensive school
  • School students-Uni with the primary school at the Katharine’s comprehensive school
  • School Students-Engineers Academy with a group of pupils from two Esslingen grammar schools
  • School Students-Engineers Academy in Filderstadt in the Eduard Spranger grammar school

Goeppingen Campus

At the School Students-Engineers Academy on the Goeppingen Campus, your creativity is in demand! Every year you can have a go at tricky problems and solve them like real engineers.

The topics, working methods and contact to the University teachers and experts from industry give you an insight into studying at university and a foretaste of life as an engineer.

The School Students-Engineers Academyseminar lasts for one school year, i.e. two semesters. You will meet on Fridays from 14:00 to 16:30 on the University’s Goeppingen campus. Additionally, there are seminars and guided tours of partner companies.
