Ranking

The CHE university ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking of German higher education institutions.

University are judged by the quality of their research and teaching using a variety of criteria. In addition to details about the study programmes, teaching, equipment and research, the ranking includes students’ opinions about the study conditions at their university and, for some subjects, the reputation of the faculties among the professors.

Since it was first launched, the CHE's target group of applicants, students and the universities themselves have found the ranking to be fair, informative and informed.

Prospective students can have a quick look at the rankings to gain some initial impressions when choosing a university, or to obtain more detailed information about the universities that have made it on to their “short list”.

The latest CHE Ranking can be found at Zeit Online.

A ranking for every subject

As the Faculty of Management and Technology encompasses several programmes, each with their own different content, we have listed the rankings according to the main focus of each programme.

The teaching provided at the Göppingen Campus has been receiving top marks for years in independent rankings such as the CHE, which is compiled by surveying not only students but also personnel managers and entrepreneurs.
