The Institute of Sustainable Energy, Engineering and Mobility (INEM) is working towards the

• subject-related and cross-curricular teaching

• of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research
• as well as further education and knowledge transfer,

involving students in the development of sustainable and efficient technologies in the area of energy supply, production and mobility.

Furthermore, the INEM is committed to the communication and understanding of guidelines for sustainable action, research and development.

The INEM is thus an important component of sustainable development at Esslingen University. It implements and communicates social, ecological and economic issues that must be taken into account when faced with the challenge of satisfying the changing life needs of today and also those of future generations.
