Esslingen City Centre Campus

Innovation meets tradition – among the historical university buildings there are modern laboratories

On the Esslingen city centre campus, students study and carry out research in the faculties of Science, Energy and Building Services, Mechanical and Systems Engineering and Mobility and Technology.

Further, the International Office, Students Advice Center, Computer Center, Career Center, administration, Public Relations Office and President’s office are to be found there.  The Students Union and cafeteria (Mensa) are also on the site.

The map as a PDF will help you find your way around.

In addition to studying, the University, city and surroundings offer many leisure time and sporting activities. Esslingen’s historical old city, with its cosy, half-timbered buildings and a lively cultural student scene provide an ideal environment for completing your student years successfully.

Room numbering system

This system helps you to find any room at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences:

Example: S 01.204

S/F/G = The letter tells you which campus: "S" stands for Esslingen city center campus (Stadtmitte), "F" Esslingen hilltop campus, Flandernstrasse and "G" for the Goeppingen campus.

The digit before the point:
The digit before the point tells you the building number.

Digits after the point:
The digits following the point tell you the room number, such that the first digit gives the floor within the building. If the first digit is preceded by a minus sign (-), the room is in the basement.
