MakerSpacES! The creative and prototype place

The concept of the nearly 180-square-meter creative and prototyping workshop is based on the so-called "fablabs" - the modern, publicly accessible do-it-yourself workshops in which interested parties can pursue their own ideas with various tools and test and further develop them in a protected environment.

The MakerSpacES! is intended to be a place to go to apply what you've learned and refine it in self-experimentation. Everything is possible, from project and thesis work to prototyping start-up ideas. Experience with tools and machines is not mandatory - rather, the MakerSpacES! offers the opportunity to learn new skills as well as how to work with common machines and tools. Of course, support, assistance, advice and the necessary training and instruction of the equipment and machines are part of the offer.

The MakerSpacES! is aimed at all members of the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. This includes students, (scientific) staff, teachers and alumni.

The MakerSpacES! is located in building 2 (S 02.014). The entrance is via the fire escape in the courtyard (Tiefhof) between buildings 1 and 2 (site plan).
