Discover the exciting world of science in the earliest years: TECHNOlino and the Science Education Centre at EsslingenUniversity of Applied Sciences make this possible.
- The TECHNOlino programme deals with topics such as air, magnetism, water and light in a way that is suitable for young children, including language education, creativity, movement, ethical and musical elements.
- TECHNOlino was developed and is supported by the Metal Workers Association of Southwest Germany (Verband Südwestmetall) and has proved its worth in kindergartens in recent years.
Kindergartens can apply
In the winter semester the topics are air and light, and in the summer semester, we deal with water and magnetism.
Important points in applying for kindergarten groups:
- A group can have a maximum of 10 kindergarten children
- The childrenhave to be accompanied by 2 kindergarten staff.
The activity afternoons in the Science Education Centre can stand independently or can be used to complement TECHNOlino modules already used in the kindergarten.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers the Technolino Programme
The Esslingen University of Applied Sciences Faculty of Mechanical Engineering collaborates with the Ev. Kindergarten Oberesslingen (in Sirnau) and offers a Technolino programme on site.
