Mechatronic systems - enhance your qualifications with a Master’s degree

The Master programme enables you to gain expertise in the extensive specialist field of simulation and the design of mechatronic systems. The language of instruction is German. As an expert in this field you are in great demand in industry and can apply sound approaches from mechatronics to finding practical solutions.

The Master programme in »Mechatronics/Systems Engineering« is offered jointly by the Universities of Esslingen and Aalen. Both universities have an excellent reputation and they each contribute their competencies in their respective disciplines, thus ensuring that the programme is both challenging and demanding.

Applications for this degree programme must be submitted online via the portal of the University of Aalen.

The deadlines for submitting applications are

  • 15 January for the summer semester
  • 15 July for the winter semester.

You can commence your studies in either the winter or the summer semester.

Applicants with a degree from a foreign university

Esslingen University of Applied Sciences requires a university degree gained at a foreign university to be recognised by the Center for International Students at Constance University of Applied Sciences (Studienkolleg Konstanz).
