Joint Degree Design Engineering Management

The Design Engineering Management Programme is the first joint-degree programme in a technology field between Hochschule Esslingen and Universidad de Zaragoza.

Manage projects and lead innovation from concept to launch in intercultural settings

In the first year, students remain at their home university and study in one virtual group;
In the second year, the students deepen their knowledge of innovation and design at Universidad de Zaragoza;
In the third year, they focus on management and leadership at the Campus Göppingen of Hochschule Esslingen;
The fourth year concludes with an internship and a bachelor’s thesis—either in Germany or in Spain, in cooperation with industry or research partners.

The degree programme is already aligned with the European Degree criteria — a new European degree that is immediately recognized throughout Europe.

Funding for scholarships

The programme for student mobility outside the Erasmus area was developed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and is funded by the BMFTR.
