All exchange students may attend German Language classes and History and Culture Classes.

German language courses for exchange students are offered on different levels. In order to find out which course is appropriate for you, you will participate in a short assessment during the orientation program.

German history and culture

This course will provide you with extended knowledge and deeper understanding of German history, politics, society and mentality and thus give you a better insight into your host country and its culture. 

ERASMUS/Global and freemover:

  • The course is offered in German language and in English (Course description).
  • Allocation will be made during the orientation week according to your language proficiency.
  • Participation is optional, but highly recommended.

INTAP/KEEP:

  • Language of instruction is English.
  • The course "Germany at a glance - history, politics and culture" is an integral part of your study program.
