General information

The ESU International Week focuses on teaching, learning, networking and international exchange. The Training and Teaching Week as well as the BIP take place simultaneously from 30. November to 4. December 2026.

The famous Esslingen Medieval and Christmas Market will take place during the International Week. The Esslingen Medieval and Christmas Market is unique: with its more than 180 booths, attractions, medieval music and a broad cultural programme, it is one of the largest and most attractive in the region. A highlight of the International Week will be the visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg (France). Strasbourg is the french christmas capital - a symbol of art, light and sharing.

The Teaching Week is aimed at lecturerers from our partner universities, as an IIA between our institutions is required for Erasmus+ Teaching. In exceptional cases, we can arrange an IIA for the Teaching Week. However, you have to clarify this with both us and your home university before applying. Please contact: io-staffprograms[at]hs-esslingen.de
