Our class is comprised of highly-motivated individuals who are currently completing an innovative Master of Engineering in Design and Development in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering.
Our students are diverse and accomplished, dedicated and forward-looking. In Esslingen, they learn to work in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment. DDM students have the possibility to work on projects that have been commissioned by industrial companies such as Bosch, Daimler, Audi, Festo, Porsche, Mahle, Behr, and Trumpf. The projects deal with current issues such as the Bike2Go (Fahrrad2Go), which aimed to improve the availability of public transportation for cyclists. In addition, any students requiring German language training participate in our extra-curricular language courses: language skills are necessary in the global workplace.
The Esslingen DDM programme emphasises practical, hands-on learning. Through lectures by national and international corporate lecturers, students gain valuable insights into their field of study, deepening their understanding of the automotive and mechanical industry, which enables them to communicate confidently in the international environment of modern industry.
Throughout their studies, our students are actively recruited by a variety of international organisations seeking highly-qualified, multicultural engineers. The German industry plays a key role in the world market of today, and by educating top qualified international engineers, the Esslingen DDM is proud to contribute to this.
The DDM Class Speakers are chosen at the beginning of each academic year. The Class Speakers assist the communication between the class and their Academic Director, the administration and staff. This they do over and above their regular academic workload, and we are very grateful for their dedication and involvement.
