As an information technology expert, you are in demand as a specialist or manager. Digitisation is continually changing our working environment, and so companies are attaching greater and greater importance to advanced and further training processes. Trained engineering teachers are in great demand in this sector as well, because they have learnt to impart their knowledge in an appropriate and engaging way.
You can embark on a career as an IT specialist or equally well opt to do further training to become a teacher of academic subjects with higher grade civil servant status, whereby you will qualify to teach two subjects: systems and information technology (SIT) and energy and automation systems (ENAT).
