“Can you think of any modern equipment that isn’t powered by electricity?” Electric mobility, medical engineering, smart homes, wind farms and solar power plants, intelligent household appliances, autonomous vehicles, e-bikes .... the list goes on and on, and as an electrical engineer you will be involved in developing the future in all these fields.

The electrical engineering degree programme at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is a cutting edge, broadly based course which not only equips you with skills in electrical and electronic engineering but also provides you with comprehensive knowledge of software development and information technology.

It includes a great many laboratory-based courses and periods of practical experience which allow you to gain lots of practical skills in addition. The electrical engineering degree programme at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is not aimed at one particular sector of industry, and thus enables you to enter nearly all fields of technology. During your integrated internship and while working on your Bachelor thesis, which is almost always done in an industrial environment, you can familiarise yourself with a number of companies and sectors of industry and thus find the career of your dreams.
