Building Services, Energy and Environmental Engineering is a practice-oriented study programme covering a wide variety of different areas of building-related engineering. The programme focuses on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning engineering, control engineering and building automation, sanitary engineering, energy management, water supply, waste disposal technology and environmental engineering.
The Bachelor’s programme (B. Eng.) with its three fields of specialisation - building services, energy engineering and environmental engineering - focuses not only on the classical treatment of the individual trades but also on integrated solutions in building services, energy engineering and environmental engineering. The subjects needed by all trades which are taught in the foundation courses such as fire protection and sound insulation are supplemented in the core courses with topics such as building services, simulation tools, facility management and building information modelling (BIM).
