Electron Microscopy Laboratory

Tasks and Equipment

Scanning electron microscope and micro-analysis

The laboratory carries out analyses for all the faculties on the City Centre campus. Apart from investigations for project work, Bachelor and Master projects, the laboratory also undertakes commissions as part of research projects, for example in collaboration with the DLR/Stuttgart (German Aerospace Center).

Students studying in the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Building Services, Energy and Environment are given an introduction to electron microscopy.

The laboratory also performs analyses for external clients for a fee.
