Automotive Systems

"An experience that changes your life" - Alfonso Rivera, ASM class of 2014

BUILD YOUR CAREER IN AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS

The programme is designed for students who wish to become highly qualified engineers in the field of automotive systems, who wish to work in the development of feedback control systems, automotive software and automotive electronics. Students have to choose one of the two majors:

Automotive IT: Innovative car communication software

Vehicle Systems: Steering, suspension, ride & handling

A ONE-of-A-KIND ECOSYSTEM OF BIG PLAYERS, HIDDEN CHAMPIONS AND START-UPS

Esslingen University has a long tradition in educating mechanical and automotive engineers. The university has always taken advantage of its location in one of the major centres of the European industry, closely linked to the nearby companies, such as Bosch, Daimler, Audi, Festo, Porsche and many others.

Learn to work in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment

The ASM programme reflects the needs of globally-oriented companies. We offer the opportunity for students from diverse cultural backgrounds to study, work and live together. This is made possible through an active contact with partner universities in many countries throughout the world. The intercultural co-operation on project work is also of added value to master's students.

Our Programmes: Students' #1 Choice!

The online portal "StudyPortals" asked students from 150 German universities how satisfied they were. We are very proud to announce that, out of these 150 German universities, Esslingen came in 10th place, flanked by top international universities of great renown.

Accreditation

The Esslingen master's programmes at Esslingen Graduate School were among the first to be accredited in Germany and are regularly reaccredited by the Accreditation Agency ZevA (Zentrale Evaluations- und Akkreditierungsagentur).
