Partnerships in Germany
The University Alliance for Applied Sciences (HAWtech) was founded under the motto "Strong regions, strong Universities - interests connect". It promotes mobility and internal student exchanges between the six universities involved. From winter semester 2010/2011, students have been able to profit from this association.
Partnerships in degree programs
A degree in engineering sciences with an additional emphasis on educational theory can be found in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Theory of Education/Engineering Sciences. These degree programs are offered in cooperation with the University of Education in Ludwigsburg.
In the dual study and work model companies cooperate with the University. The BMW SpeedUp model, leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics arose in close cooperation with BMW.
The dual model MechatronicsPlus combines practical training and studying for a degree. First, a training contract is drawn up with a company. This contract opens the door to an Esslingen University degree program. The advantages: studying with financial support from the company, graduation after 5 instead of 6 years, experience in theory and practice.
The Master of Engineering in Environmental Protection arose from cooperation between:
Nuertingen University of Applied Sciences (Economy and Environment),Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences and
Stuttgart Technical University.
The Master of Engineering in Applied Surface and Material Sciences is taught in cooperation with Aalen University of Applied Sciences.
