Your way to the International Office....
... from the airport
From Frankfurt Airport:
Trains run from the airport directly to Stuttgart (prices and timetables see www.bahn.de) The information desk at Frankfurt Airport can help with travel connections.
From Munich airport:
Take the S-Bahn to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof München) and then take a train (ICE - InterCity Express - expensive, but fast and direct trains) to Hauptbahnhof Stuttgart. See below for further advice.
From Stuttgart airport:
Take Bus No. 122 from the airport to Esslingen. Get off at "Maille" for the City Centre Campus. The University of Applied Sciences is just around the corner on the right hand side. (Your flight ticket should be valid for this ride to Esslingen but ask the bus driver to make sure). For the Hilltop Campus get off at "Bahnhof/ZOB" (train station) and change buses.
Alternatively you can take the S-Bahn to Stuttgart main station (Hauptbahnhof) and change trains there to take the S-Bahn towards "Plochingen" or "Esslingen".
Note: It is easier to fly directly to Stuttgart airport than Munich or Frankfurt, especially if you are carrying a lot of luggage! If you are bringing more than you can carry, be prepared to pay approx. 30 € for a taxi from Stuttgart airport to Esslingen.
... by car
Drive along the B10 until you reach the exit signposted "Esslingen"; cross the river Neckar towards the city center. At the crossroads you can see the University of Applied Sciences on the right hand side. You can park at the "Parkhaus Innenstadt/Kiesstraße" (fee-paying, next to Esslingen fire station) at the large crossing opposite the University Campus turn left. Pedestrian exit "Campus". Parking on the University of Applied Sciences premises is not possible.
... by train
Take S-Bahn 1 (Hbf lower level) towards Esslingen/Plochingen or take the Regional Express Train (Hbf upper level) and get off at Esslingen. From here you can either get a taxi or one of the following buses:
Bus 101 (towards „Lerchenäcker“) and get off at "Schwimmbad", or Bus 105 (towards "Am schönen Rain") and get off at "Fachhochschule". (3 minutes)
... by bus
Take Bus No. 101 (towards „Lerchenäcker“) and get off at "Schwimmbad", or Bus 105 (towards "Am schönen Rain") and get off at "Fachhochschule". (3 minutes)
... on the Campus
