Master's degree programs

The Faculty of Social Work, Health Care and Nursing Sciences offers two Master's degree programs:

  • Master of Arts (M.A.) Social Work (accredited until 31st March 2011)
  • Master of Arts (M.A.) Nursing Sciences (accredited until 31st March 2011)

Master's degree programs at Esslingen

The three-semester Master's degree program enables students to use applied research and development as an important tool in their professional practice. In the areas of planning, conceptualisation and evaluation of social and health care services as well as for educational purposes the program focuses especially on the following areas:

  • scientific and theoretical aspects of social sciences research 
  • competence in developing research design
  • research methods
  • evaluation and planning instruments.
