Structure of the degree program
The seven-semester degree program is full-time. It is divided into a basic part (2 semesters) and a main part (5 semesters). The fourth semester is a practical semester. Each semester is worth 30 credits. The qualification obtained is the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Development and Education in Childhood. A good degree qualifies the graduate to enter a Master's degree program.

Social and educational work as a profession and a science
The degree program includes elements from educational theory, sociology, psychology, law, political science and management science. Themes which are echoed throughout the entire program include the integration of children with developmental disabilities, intercultural issues and gender.
