Within the university, there are various boards and commissions making representative decisions influencing student life. The students’ co-operation in expressing their opinion is very important for the university: students are expressly requested to take a position on specific boards and committees. This enables students directly to contribute in matters of, for example, appointment of new professors, further development of the programs, and use of study fees.

It is the Graduate School students’ responsibility to send their candidates to the committees, where they may then represent the interests of the entire group.
