In the future we will need qualified, young professionals - especially in the areas of science and technology. By the year 2030 it is expected that there will be a shortage of around 100.000 engineers. Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is committed to helping young people - especially the female sex - discover the fascination of science and technology. To this end, we offer children and young people a range of exciting and creative activities to enable them to get a taste of what it is like to be a scientist or engineer. Furthermore, it is an aim of the University to provide advanced specialist training to teachers in the areas of science and technology. Esslingen University of Applied Sciences has something to offer every age group:Technolino is designed for pre-school children, Children's uni for young schoolchildren, Girls' Day or Mädchentechniktag for young girls between the ages of 13 - 14 and much more.

Our Open days and  Study info days help parents and pupils to choose a degree subject. The Pupil's academy provides shared projects with schools in the region.
