The Faculty of Basic Sciences has two tasks: The professors teach all students of all faculties in physics and mathematics. Preparatory courses in mathematics for new students are organised and taught by the faculty before the semester begins. The faculty provides an extensive teaching training programme in these basic subjects. The faculty also offers a new study programme in Teaching Engineering, both for a Bachelor’s or a Master’s title.
