Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering

Welcome to the Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering Department of Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. We are located right in one of the most famous regions of German industry with the main focus on machine tools, automation and automotive engineering.

The Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering is situated on the Goeppingen Campus where more than 1000 students will complete their studies soon. Goeppingen is located between Stuttgart and Ulm in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Baden-Wuerttemberg, at the foot of the historical Kaiser Mountain Hohenstaufen (684 m).

The education at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering is characterised by intensive practical training and close cooperation with industry. University laboratories, which are unique among Germany’s universities of applied sciences, make it possible to work on joint research and development projects.

International cooperation projects strongly underline the importance of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering. Outstanding partners are the ITESM Monterrey, Mexico and Tongji University Shanghai, China.
