International Exchange Programs INTAP & KEEP
Initially, the International Automotive Engineering Program (INTAP) and the Kettering Engineering Exchange Program (KEEP) had been developed at the Faculty of Automotive Engineering in cooperation with the Kettering University (former GMI) in Flint, Michigan, USA.
Underlying idea of both programs is the promotion of international students exchange at Hochschule Esslingen.
What, Who, and How?
To achieve this, we offer interesting lectures in automotive competence, and procure cultural and historical impressions of our environment.
In addition, INTAP and KEEP offer a semester-wise changing variety of fieldtrips to the German car industry, their suppliers and other scenic places in Germany. The credits of the lectures are usually accepted at our partner universities.
Meanwhile, INTAP and KEEP represent fixed and successful programs in the wide range of our international activities. INTAP and KEEP had been running since more than 5 years at Hochschule Esslingen. During the last two years, we focussed more and more on the international aspect in its proper meaning. This means that we try to accept students of different nationalities from partner universities all over the world, in order to give the student the opportunity to learn from other cultures and mentalities.
